LOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven Fire Departments announced the prize winners from their annual Halloween Parade, which once again brought a festive spirit to downtown Lock Haven.
Best Overall Entry went to Red, White and Boo by Central Mountain Youth Football and Cheer. RTG Solutions captured Best Float with their Minions theme, while the Best Halloween-Themed Group honor went to Fast Food featuring Dan Kunes, Hunter Merrill, and Brittany and Becca Mitch.Other winners included:
Best Halloween-Themed Vehicle: 1931 Ford – Alexander Roller
Funniest: Central Mountain Band
Cutest: Pigeons – Jessie, Ross, Adeline and Guy Driver
Best Costumed Pet: Lady Bug Dogs – Kathy Moriarity, Audrey Flick, Teagan O’Donald and Kayla Louise
Best Child in a Wagon, Stroller or Buggy: Ninja Turtle
Best Trio: Osborne Family – Jason, Kasey and Sailor Dumm
Best Pop Culture: Ghost Buster
Best Halloween Spirit: Enchanted Forest – Jessia Dickey, Robin Shirk and Amber Hanley
Most Original: Fountain of Youth – Quentin Gallagher
Judges’ Award: Pirates – Judy Durkin, Rod and Evie Shaffer, Karizma, Creed, Conrad, Lola and Mac Johnson
The Ninja Turtle and Ghost Buster winners were not present to collect their prizes and may contact Eastside Fire Rescue at 570-748-5958 or stop by the fire station at 124 East Church Street, Lock Haven, to claim their awards.
